Inner Universe - In Memory of Origa

This is my visual interpretation of the opening theme for "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex." The song was originally performed by the late Russian songstress Olga "Origa" Yakovleva (1970-2015) who recently passed away due to lung cancer.

After reading the tragic news of her death one week ago, I decided to create this digital painting to honor her memory and end the first month of the year in style.
