Hell on Earth - Malice Character Sketches

As it is written:

"There is no-one righteous, not even one;
There is no-one who understands,
No-one who seeks the Lord.
All have turned way,
They have together become worthless;
There is no-one who does good,
Not even one."

"Their throats are open graves;
Their tongues practise deceit."

"The poison of vipers is on their lips."

Ruin and misery mark their ways,
And the way of peace they do not know."

The image above is a series of initial sketches for a potential enemy demon in my conceptual demonic hack-n-slash game "Hell on Earth," who I name "Malice."

This creature's design was heavily influenced by the biblical descriptions of the seven deadly sins as seen in the Book of Proverbs.

Here, I wanted to cram almost every possible sin (except the "proud look" sin, which I believe to be pride) into his design. I also wanted to experiment with different ideas of how to portray his corruption through macabre physical distortion influenced by Soul Calibur's Nightmare and Prototype's Alex Mercer.
